Player Guide
Athletics Manager is a browser-based management sim built around track & field. You run a club: scout and recruit athletes, develop them through training, and send them out to compete across seasons for medals and records.
The core loop
Section titled “The core loop”- Scout — find talent through reports, the free market, the draft, and your academy.
- Train — set each athlete’s exercises and manage their form, fatigue, and condition.
- Compete — enter meets across the World Tour, qualify for championships, and chase the playoffs.
- Progress — break records, grow your club, and build a dynasty season over season.
Your first steps
Section titled “Your first steps”Create your club. When you first sign up you name a club and receive a starting roster of athletes. Each athlete is procedurally generated with a set of attributes and a hidden potential — part of the game is discovering who will develop into a champion.
Set up training. Open an athlete and use their Training tab to choose the exercises they’ll run each day. Training is set-and-forget: pick a plan and it repeats until you change it.
Plan your season. On an athlete’s Competitions tab, sign them up for meets across the World Tour and choose which days they turn out. Perform well to qualify for the bigger stages, and ultimately the playoffs.
Think ahead. Every performance is measured against personal, national, and world records. Break them, grow your club’s reputation and finances, and keep recruiting so the next generation is ready when today’s stars decline.
